SAFE celebrates its website relaunch with a dinner and reception.

SAFE’s re-launched website was a cause for celebration on Friday, June 8 when friends and supporters gathered at Intermezzo restaurant in New York City.

SAFE is a robust web-centered organization, so when we get together in real time it’s an opportunity for raising the proverbial roof. And we did. Reception and dinner were for catching up with old friends and making new acquaintances—as well as enjoying delicious Italian fare in Chelsea, one of New York’s destination hot spots.

After dinner, Brooke Todsen gave a presentation on the new features of the re-launched web site. With donors’ generous support we are able to pursue our mission of raising public awareness of the dangers of looting and the importance of preserving the world’s cultural legacies more effectively. The web site will also drive new programs SAFE is planning. Here are a few of the web site’s new and improved features:

• Searchable Resources section
• Nearly 200 pages of content more upfront and visible
• Comment sections on many of the new pages
• Integrated blog with searchable Categories
• More direct access to social media
