SAFE presented its work to law students as a part of its outreach effort.

SAFE was invited to exhibit at “Human Rights and Cultural Heritage: From the Holocaust to the Haitian Earthquake”, a conference at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law sponsored by The American Society of International Law, the Lawyers’ Committee for Cultural Heritage Preservation, the Art Law Society of Cardozo Law School, and the Hofstra Law School Art and Cultural Heritage Club.

The conference brought together discussions surrounding the protection of culture, conservation, restitution, and human rights from the legal perspectives. SAFE seized the opportunity to reach out to the event’s attendees including students, lawyers, conservators, government agents, academics. “Say YES to Egypt” buttons were distributed.
