The Montana Historical Society Museum announced that it has recovered a rare Sioux pipe bag. The artifact went missing from their collection in 2003, and resurfaced in 2015 on a collector website. Authorities are still investigating the transfers of ownership that took place between the time of its theft, and its placement on the auction site.
